The Best of Pinot Noir
March 28th, 2015 1:00PM – 5:00PM

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the grape and join us for our complimentary tasting, “The Best of Pinot Noir.” Pinot Noir’s storied reputation originated in Burgundy, France, but the grape is cultivated for wine around the world. Guests will be able to sample a variety of bottles while learning about the different flavors that the same grape is capable of producing when grown in different regions. The staff will be pouring our top recommendations as they explain the process of growing the grape.

The Great Come Back… Merlot!
April 18th, 2015 1:00PM – 5:00PM
During the 1990’s, Merlot was the reigning red. The varietal became the go-to for most novice to intermediate wine drinkers because of its texture, accessibility and name-recognition. Ordering a glass of Merlot was the counterpart of ordering a glass of Chardonnay. Or it was, until wine drinkers began to expand their palate, ordering Pinot Noirs, Cabernets and branching out into lesser known wine-growing regions.
While Merlot had been overlooked for the past decade, there’s an all new Merlot on the market! On Saturday, We are reintroducing wine buyers to the latest and greatest Merlots at this complimentary tasting. Not to be confused with your parent’s Merlot, the expert staff will be pouring some of the best bottles to hit the market in recent years.
