Summer End Bash
We understand that the end of a New England summer isn’t necessarily a reason to celebrate- but it’s certainly worthy of a proper send-off. On Saturday, August 30, 2014 guests are welcomed to our Summer End Bash, an event honoring warm weather wines and savory BBQ pork sandwiches. From 1:00PM – 5:00PM, guests are invited to taste a variety of carefully selected wines, which are sure to compliment a variety of budgets and taste buds! Wine enthusiasts are encouraged to sip and try our picks of thirst-quenching flavors that will bring refreshment on any sunny late-summer’s day. As always, our weekly tastings are complimentary, so guests won’t want to miss an enjoyable afternoon with food, wine and good company.
We pride ourselves on offering wine lovers a unique and innovative purchasing experience compliments of our competitive prices and expert staff. On Saturday, September 13th, 2014 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM, our staff will be put to the test during our annual “Staff Picks” complimentary tasting. Each Wine ConneXtion staff member will recommend his or her favorite bottle of wine, along with a reason why it is just that. Who better to make suggestions than the people who work with wine all day long? Guests will taste an assortment of varietals at varying price points and, as always, staff will be on-hand to discuss the distinguishing features of each bottle. We known for our complimentary Saturday tastings, but this time it’s getting personal! Walk-ins welcome all day.
We have decided to focus one of our popular Saturday tastings on our Wine Director Sam Messina’s favorites. Many people who frequent the Wine Connextion have asked in the past what Sam’s favorite wines consist of; on Saturday, September 20th from 1:00PM-5:00PM he will be tasting and providing information on a few of his favorites. Sam’s Picks picks will consist of eight different wines that he believes not only provide customers with a great value for their money; but are the wines that he considers to be his favorites for everyday drinking.
